Time Management

Over the last few days I’ve been adding the old blog posts to this blog (see my other post called New Blog – Starting From Scratch) from Google’s cache and from the WayBack Machine, as that way, the links were left intact (although the WayBack Machine’s links had their site at the beginning of the URL. I think I amended them all. Let me know if you see any).

It’s become clear that a lot of them are out of date, and are promoting stuff I no longer use, so it would seem unfair to keep on promoting them, as I currently don’t think they’re the best tools to use.

So there may be some  links that produce error pages, but I’ve made sure all the old posts I have added have the same URL as before.

I also felt it necessary to include an image with every post previously. Because I personally hate being faced with a page full of text only (probably because I’m dyslexic) I felt I had to break the text up with pics, but finding a suitable image, whether paid for, Creative Commons or one I’ve created myself does take time.

I also have to set a 10 minuite timer before I go off hunting for images because I would get sooo distracted otherwise. If I could be paid for just hunting for images on BigStockPhoto.com, Fotolia or Shutterstock, I’d do nothing else!

So EngineerYourSuccess.com will still have images, but not as many from now on.

One of the difficult things of working for yourself from home can be motivating yourself to get enough work done. Having customers, subscribers and outsource workers are definitely good ways of producing accountability, or you’d look stupid if you don’t do what you say you are going to do. But Dan Brock talks about tricking [...]
